When starting a business, it's important to have a clear name, purpose and mission. This helps to define your business and set it apart from others.

1. Craft your name, purpose and mission first

In the modern era, almost every business has an online presence. Do not miss your opportunity to receive all those likes, shares, and mentions.

2. Think in advance about your digital presence

Money, effort, and energy are always needed to build a business. In terms of the financial side of this, it's crucial that you prepare in advance - do thorough research to determine how much money you will need.

3. Don't forget to pay attention to your initial investments

Entrepreneurs often settle for unqualified employees at the start in the hope that they will find experts later. This seems to be a rather wrong business approach to me.

4. Avoid hiring just anybody

Despite banks' latest price forecasts, most of which see Brent returning to the three-digit territory before the end of the year, many see demand destruction imminent.

5. Know your competitors and be consistent
